On most MMDA-covered roads, a coded private vehicle is expected to be allowed from 10:01 AM to 4:59 PM. Makati City does not use this midday window.

Motorcycles are generally exempt from the standard Metro Manila number coding scheme. Local traffic rules and other restrictions still apply.
