Planning your first trip on the SLEX, Skyway, or NAIAX? You will need an Autosweep RFID sticker. Here is what first-time expressway drivers need to know.
What Is Autosweep RFID?
Autosweep RFID is the electronic toll sticker used on expressways operated by San Miguel Corporation — including the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), the Skyway, and NAIAX. A small sticker goes on your windshield or headlamp, and toll is deducted automatically as you pass through the gate. No more digging for cash at the toll booth.
Autosweep vs. Easytrip
The Philippines has two main toll systems, and they are not interchangeable:
- Autosweep RFID — SLEX, Skyway, NAIAX, and other San Miguel expressways.
- Easytrip RFID — NLEX, SCTEX, CAVITEX, and other Metro Pacific expressways.
If you regularly drive on both networks, you need one sticker for each.
Where to Get One Installed
Autosweep RFID stickers are installed at enrollment sites along the expressways and at select stations and customer service centers. Installation is free — you only pay for your initial load. Bring your vehicle, your driver’s license, and your OR/CR.
How Reloading Works
Your RFID wallet works like a prepaid load. Top up online, at partner outlets, or at toll plaza reloading lanes, then drive through the RFID lanes. Keep your balance above your usual toll so the gate never rejects you — an insufficient balance at the barrier means reversing out while traffic builds behind you.
A Note for New Drivers
Tollway rules and installation sites change over time, so verify current enrollment locations and requirements on the official Autosweep website before your first trip.
